Shoshana Beitchman

Grades 2/3

Shoshana Beitchman was born in Miami Beach and has been going to Temple Beth Sholom since she was a baby.

 

She has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Florida International University and works as a Community Specialist Liaison for Project UP-START, the Homeless Education Program of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Shoshana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and going to the beach.

 

She's looking forward to working with the 2nd and 3rd graders this upcoming school year!

Mason Duboff

Songleader; Grade 6

 

Temple Beth Sholom born and raised, Mason Duboff brings ruach and creativity wherever he goes. Whether in the classroom, on the bima, or hiking in Israel, his passion for Judaism shines. Specializing in music and family engagement, it’s rare to find him without guitar in hand. Mason’s energy is bright and his true love for the culture is contagious. 

Lucia Eixarch

Grades 2/3; Creative Arts Track

 

Born in Rosario, Argentina, Lucia Eixarch has lived in Miami Beach for the past 18 years, and now warmly joins our jLAB family. Lucia is an artist with a playful mind and a passion for people. Her artistic spunk, love for Judaism, positive aura and passion for learning are just some of the characteristics she exudes. Since joining our community, Lucia has opened her heart to all of us here at TBS. 

Brad Elmowitz

Middle School: 6th Grade and Sports Track; Athletics Workshop

Brad grew up in North Miami Beach and has called South Florida home for over 40 years. He studied business at the University of South Florida. Brad has been a licensed real estate agent for over 20 years. He is the proud father of two teenage boys. Brad joined the TBSIS staff as a substitute teacher during the 2016 school year and joined the TBSIS professional team in 2017. He has been teaching in jLAB since 2018.
 

Robyn Finkelstein

Cooking Workshop

Robyn Finkelstein, the President of CHIP Bakery LLC, is thrilled up be a part of the amazing team and staff of TBS’s jLAB program. Robyn’s delight in working in the kitchen was cultivated by working as the Pastry Chef at MC Kitchen in the Design District. Prior to her career in the culinary arts, Robyn held executive positions in advertising and marketing in New York, NY at Huffington Post, FOX News, The New York Times, and The Miami Heat and Miami Magazine in Miami, FL.   Robyn’s successful transition to her current role leveraged her business acumen with her love of baking. She loved the relational context that the making and eating of food created....and still does! Her hope for her students that learning to cook and bake within the jLAB setting will foster quality time at home while embracing Jewish culture. She can’t think of a better job then combining her loves of baking and teaching young ones. 

Tori Greene

7th Grade; Creative Arts Track 

Professionally, Tori plans and produces events all over the South Florida market with 84 West Events. She is also South Florida's Top Female MC for Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations. Beyond her professional career, she is extremely passionate about leadership, building community and Judaism. Tori is involved in the National Council of Jewish Women's Listen & Engage program, is the founder and a current resident of Moishe Pod- Brickell, a BBYO Advisor and song leader, and Birthright staffer. She is excited to be part of the jLab team and hopes to encourage others to explore their Judaism creatively and passionately.

Tennille Maisner

Musical Theater Workshop

Tennille Maisner was raised on Miami Beach and attended North Beach Elementary, Nautilus Middle School, and Miami Beach Senior High. After graduating high school, she studied for her Bachelor of Arts in music education at Miami Dade College and FIU South. Tennille has completed her Child Development Associate Credential here at Temple Beth Sholom and has been a part of all the youth programs and musical theater productions under the direction of Cantor Haas.

Diana Rosen

Grades 4/5; Art Workshop

Diana Rosen is a married mother of two living in Miami Beach with 15 years experience in public relations, marketing, and management. Diana attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in mass communications & public relations.

After graduating, Diana began her career in public relations and marketing with non-profit organizations, such as N.A.R.A.S (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), the Latin Grammy Miami Chapter, the Concert Association of Florida, and the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium. Diana’s most recent work experience included hotel management, marketing and public relations in South Beach, most notably Casa Casuarina (the former Versace mansion).  Diana took five years off to raise her children and after her boys started elementary school, she went back to work as Brand Ambassador for Phillips Frankel, a local fine jewelry company. 

Diana grew up in Miami and feels strongly about giving back to her community. She believes it is important her children participate in volunteer projects as well.

Diana is especially passionate about volunteering and fundraising for Temple Beth Sholom, North Beach Elementary, Special Olympics of South Florida, Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, and Children’s Home Society of Florida.

She has participated in Temple Beth Sholom’s Social Justice Network and has co-captained the same Mitzvah Day project for over five years. Diana is the recording secretary on the Executive Board of North Beach Elementary Friends of North Beach, a non-profit organization dedicated to raise funding for additional, science, math, and reading teachers.  She volunteers frequently at Chapman Partnership for the Homeless by raising funds to organize and distribute food to individuals and families at the Miami shelter. Diana is on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Home Society of Florida, an organization dedicated to finding foster families for neglected and abused children in South Florida. 

Diana has always had a passion for drawing and painting. She loves participating in local art classes at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, the Miami Beach Public Library, and the Bass Museum of Art.

Danny Rosenberg

Grades 4/5; Digital Media Workshop

Danny Rosenberg was born in Miami and raised at Temple Beth Sholom. He studied at Columbia College Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematic Arts + Sciences with a Concentration in Cinematography. Before then, he graduated high school from New World School of the Arts, having studied in the theater division. After graduating from college, Danny moved to Los Angeles and began to work for entertainment companies like BuzzFeed and Funny or Die while freelancing as a commercial director for companies like United Airlines, H&M, and Nickelodeon. This last year, Danny relocated back to Miami to pursue his career as an independent film director and producer in the city that he loves, surrounded by the community that he loves. Danny is incredibly excited to join the talented and caring staff of jLAB and looks forward to not only sharing what he knows about digital media with the students but learning from them as well. 

Barbara Schpilberg

Hebrew Workshop

Barbara grew up in Argentina and moved to Miami in 1997. She attended a bilingual Jewish school where she learned Hebrew from Kindergarten all the way to high school. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Minor in English. She also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Mora Barbara is a Jewish educator. She previously taught Hebrew and Jewish education to first and third grades at the School for Living Judaism beginning in 2013, but she took time off after  her youngest son Noah was born. Barbara teaches Spanish, Hebrew, Judaic Studies and Physical Education to all the elementary levels at Temple Beth Sholom Innovative School. Barbara teaches different dance disciplines like Modern Dance, Zumba and Hip-Hop. She also teaches Yoga Music and different Mommy & Me classes during the summer.

 

Guiliana Sierralta

Grades K/1; Cooking Workshop

Giuliana Sierralta is from Peru and has lived in Miami since 1986. She graduated summa cum laude from Kaplan University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with an emphasis in child development. She also earned the Child Development Associate Credential. Giuliana is the proud mother of Cole Young, who is a former student of the Foundation Level and the School for Living Judaism. In her free time, Giuliana enjoys the beach, running, traveling, and spending time with her son and family.

Shoshana Zysman

Hebrew Through Movement Specialist

 

Shoshana was born in Israel and grew up in Tel Aviv.  She moved to Florida in 1980 and started teaching at the Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach.  In 1981, Shoshana started her work as a Hebrew teacher at the School for Living Judaism.  She has enjoyed preparing many children and adults for Bar and Bat Mitzvah.  She feels that it is a mitzvah to teach Jewish kids and adults in the Diaspora about Israel, Judaism and Hebrew. Shoshana received her degree in Early Childhood Education through Elementary School Education from the Kibbutzim Seminary in Tel Aviv.  In addition, she received a Senior Hebrew Teacher Certificate for Adult Education from the Israeli Defense Forces and a Senior Hebrew Teacher Certificate as a Second Language from Tel Aviv University.  She holds a Judaic Studies and Hebrew Language Teachers License from The Greater Miami Board of License. Shoshana served in the Israeli Defense Forces teaching new immigrant soldiers from all over the world.  Before coming to Florida, she taught Hebrew for Jewish students from South America and the United States.  Shoshana has enjoyed teaching Hebrew and Judaic Studies for children of all ages and adults at Temple Beth Sholom.
